Whiteboards come in many shapes, sizes and with different types of dry erase writing surfaces. There are porcelain steel, magnetic receptive whiteboards in either a standard high gloss or a low gloss finish for projection purposes, there is a HPL or high pressure laminate whiteboard, and there are also the economy Melamine whiteboards. Some of these finishes or whiteboards can come in heights up to 5', 8' or 10' tall while others are only available in the standard 4' height. How do I know which whiteboards to order? Ordering whiteboards can be a confusing task because there are so many different types available. You want to be sure that you get the best whiteboards for our money and something that won't have ghost images on it in a month. We offer three grades of whiteboards but the magnetic whiteboards offer the best writing surface and the longest 50 year warranty.
If you don't need the magnetic capabilities of a porcelain steel board and you don't plan on using the whiteboard extensively then the High Pressure Laminate or HPL whiteboard may work fine for you. They carry a 25 year warranty and would be our second best option..
